  I've shopped Pier 1 for over 30 years in several locations. Our son who is in his 20's remembers us buying a wicker hamper in the Bristol, Connecticut store 20+ years ago... and he fit inside. Silly, fond memories. It finally had to be parted with this past summer. Pier 1's been a part of our lives for a long time. We remodeled our half bath 2 years ago, all decor from Pier 1. I love the eclectic selection of treasures but I have noticed over the years that the prices have gone up disproportionately. I can't afford to shop there as often but that's made it more of a special treat. I've had only good experiences with the employees at the Colonial Heights store.
